I am trying to help an old friend over the last year who is not criminal in any way but addicted to medications for various mental problems,cigarettes and alcohol. ALL friends and family have rejected him now but I have re entered his life after about 15 years of keeping clear of him and he is improving! Almost given up the cigarettes and drinking less …even so I know this is no part of his true self..it is a picture and a false one at that. I appreciate this story and have written down various things you have said as this is helpful to me in helping my friend
