Over 30% of all inmates in California prisons and jails are being treated for a “serious mental illness.” While the issue is largely unreported, it’s an ever-growing concern in State and county institutions.
In this video, you are about to hear of an inmate who was being prescribed numerous “psych-meds” by the prison doctors. After meeting with Chaplain Angela for answers to his many questions about Christian Science–and following his own study–this man experienced an amazing transformation. You’ll want to share this story with your friends!
Your prayers can make a real difference. And your comments are always welcome. For those of you who have shared before, well, please share again!

WONDERFUL testimony ! I am trying to help an old friend over the last year who is not criminal in any way but addicted to medications for various mental problems, cigarettes and alcohol. ALL friends and family have rejected him now but I have re entered his life after about 15 years of keeping clear of him and he is improving! Almost given up the cigarettes and drinking less …even so I know this is no part of his true self..it is a picture and a false one at that. I appreciate this story and have written down various things you have said as this is helpful to me in helping my friend
Bravo Chaplain Angela for your steadfast loving persistence visiting this inmate and patiently shepherding him with Truths of Christian Science. Also to “lay off the old man and be renewed in the Spirit” as Paul encourages. What a blessing of a life restored.
I often pray with John 17:5 replacing “glorify” with “clarify”. Jesus’ words – “And now, O Father, clarify thou me with thine own self, with the clarity that I had with Thee before the world was.” The inmate’s clarity was always his, he had only to see it. A beautiful illustration.
❤️❤️😇 Thank you for sharing.
