It all starts within. With a simple, firm desire. Actually it’s a commitment to draw closer to God, to be more Godlike by practicing His nature in little ways, in moments.
In this video you’ll hear a humble story told by Christian Science Chaplain Ann. No, it’s not what you’d call a dramatic physical healing, but listen closely. You’ll hear how one inmate who had never heard of the Ten Commandments or the Golden Rule began to change his life by taking the simple steps to apply what he was learning from the Bible and put it into PRACTICE.
Hopefully these simple words will touch your heart too.

This change of heart or transformation is really a moment by moment process. Transformation doesn’t happen all at once. It occurs in the everyday details of life.
Like when the person in the video realized he could have reacted differently and wrote a letter of apology. It might not seem like a big deal. But it actually is.
Thank you, Anne, for sharing this experience. And thank you for the purity of vision to behold the ‘perfect man’ no matter what the physical evidence may present. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for posting this wonderful healing of progress for this inmate. Truly when they find the Truth they are changed for the better. Being a Chaplain I can see is so rewarding when you find you ar able to help someone.
It is beautiful to see the light of Christ shining in them. Thank you for your wonderful work!
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
“There is more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over many who have not strayed.”
How very very special.
What a beautiful demonstration.
He has obviously felt the touch of the Christ, – and will continue to, –
on, and on, and on.
SUch a tender sharing.
Thanks a lot,
Susan
Wonderful video of the impact chaplains have on inmates. Amazing to see and hear of changes in inmates once they change their lives
