How would you handle yourself if you were locked up in a tiny room with an angry and potentially violent cell-mate screaming at you?
Christian Science Chaplain Dianne shares the story of an inmate she has been meeting with regularly. In this case the inmate was living with a very angry cell-mate and instead of reacting like he might normally do, decided to practice the ideas of love he had been studying in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Both inmates remained safe from harm because of his shift in perspective.

Everyone wants a sense of peace. Thanks for sharing this Diane. Using the synonyms for Love is so helpful to see ourselves and others correctly.
This is a good lesson for all of us. What a difference it can make when we stop reacting and love more. That’s a wake up call for me, thanks for sharing!
What a great example of Love being reflected in love!
What a great example of the power of prayer. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this, Diane. Evelyn said it so well.
Thank you, Diane. If peace can be found in a prison cell = surely we can all find it even more abundantly every day, wherever we are.
